I pasted this link into the second line of code ( ) which There I clicked on the three dots next to the file name and copied the web address which is listed there. Just to be sure I made no mistake with the address to the StickyHeaders script: I uploaded the Java Script file to the folder SiteAssets on Sharepoint. Or could somebody who got this StickyHeaders script (or any other method) to work in a normal list in Sharepoint guide me through the steps and write how he or she managed to get it to work exactly? Is there any other way to freeze the header and also freeze the left three columns? I found these steps in the comment section on the StickyHeaders Website (post by Luke from April 29, 2014). Is there an easier way to accomplish this task by now in Sharepoint 2013? I have pretty much no experience with HTML at this point, but still need to figure out a way to make this custom list. Now I found this question and answer on here: So the first big task is to be able to freeze the three left columns and the header in a Sharepoint list. This functionality is not available in Sharepoint but we need a custom list, that works like the Excel document. This makes working with the sheet much easier. In the original Excel file the three left columns are freezed and therefore always visible when you scroll to the right. We are working with a very large list in Sharepoint made from an Excel file via the "Import Spreadsheet" app in Sharepoint.
